  1. Criteria for determining the disability: Unable to walk 200 feet unassisted by another; unable to walk 200 feet without the use of a brace, cane, crutch, prosthetic device, etc.; unable to walk 200 feet due to neurological, orthopedic, respiratory, cardiac, arthritic disorder, blindness, or the loss of function or absence of a limb.

  2. Placard design: Removable windshield placard displaying the International Symbol of Access issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. 

  3. Parking space provisions: Complies with ADA Standards.

  4. Enforcement/Penalties:  Any person that parks in the parking space designated for persons with disabilities when not entitled to it - an infraction and a fine of $50 for the first offense, $50 and a loss of parking privileges for the registered owner for a period of one year.
