  1. Criteria for determining  the disability: Unable to walk 200 feet without stopping to rest; unable to walk without the use of a brace, cane, crutch, another person, prosthetic device, etc.; restricted by lung disease; restricted by a cardiac condition; restricted by arthritic, neurological, orthopedic condition; use of portable oxygen needed.

  2. Placard design: None given - Secretary of State prescribes it by administrative rules.

  3. Parking space provisions: Each space will be marked with a R 7-8 sign adopted by the United States Department of Transportation and will exhibit words "$100 fine". Each space will be at least 16 feet wide.

  4. Enforcement/Penalties: Any person in violation of the handicapped parking privileges - fine of $100 in addition to any costs or charges connected with the removal or storage of any motor vehicle but municipalities by ordinance may impose a fine up to $200.
