40:1742.1. Additional fine for enforcement of mobility-impaired parking regulations In addition to all fines, fees, costs, and punishment authorized for violation of mobility-impaired parking regulations, any parish or municipality which institutes a formal handicapped parking enforcement program to assist the law enforcement agency in enforcing such regulations may, by ordinance, provide for and enforce an additional twenty-five dollar fine for each violation of such regulations. The proceeds of such additional fine shall be used by such parish or municipal governing authority exclusively to fund such program.
