Criteria for determining the disability: Unable to walk without the use of a brace, cane, crutch, another person, prosthetic device, etc.; restricted by lung disease; use of portable oxygen needed; restricted by a cardiac condition; restricted by arthritic, neurological, orthopedic condition.
Placard design: Removable windshield placard displaying the International Symbol of Access, the date of expiration, identification number, and a seal or other identification of the Department of Safety.
Parking space provisions: Each space will be marked with a sign affixed to a post or a building that states that the space is reserved for a person with a walking disability or displaying the International Symbol of Access.
Enforcement/Penalties: Any person that parks in the parking space designated for persons with disabilities when not entitled to it - a fine of a minimum of $50.
