Oregon

  1. Criteria for determining the disability: A severe visual or physical impairment which limits personal mobility; unable to walk without the use of a brace, cane, crutch, another person, prosthetic device, etc.; restricted by respiratory problems; restricted by a cardiac condition; permanent loss of all or substantially all of the use of one or more limbs.

  2. Placard design: A removable placard bearing the driver license or identification card number and the expiration date issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. 

  3. Parking space provisions: None given.

  4. Enforcement/Penalties: Any person that parks in the parking space designated for persons with disabilities when not entitled to it - a Class B traffic violation punishable by a fine of at least $190, plus any necessary and reasonable charges incurred by the landowner or other person in having a vehicle removed; Any person that parks blocking a parking space reserved for disabled persons - a Class D traffic violation punishable by a fine of at least $50, plus any necessary and reasonable charges incurred by the landowner or any other person in having a vehicle removed; Any person that is not disabled but uses parking permit issued to a disabled person - a Class B traffic violation punishable by a fine of at least $190.
